After a Distinguished Career at USA Today, Steve Hyatt Launches HR Consulting Firm

That experience is exactly what Steve is offering to his business owner and Human Resource executive clients as he writes a new chapter in his career, launching a Human Resource Consulting firm, KDRJ Consultants, LLC.

KDRJ Consultants is committed to assisting business owners throughout the U.S. with a wide range of Human Resources issues. No issue is too complicated or too small for Steve and his team to provide expertise based on his extensive background and experience leading large Human Resources Departments in dynamic organizations.

Steve is serving as President of the venture after having forged a successful, award-winning Human Resources career as Chief Human Resources Officer for Offit Kurman Attorneys at Law, an East Coast Firm with over 600 employees operating in 14 offices from New York City to Charlotte NC, achieving industry-leading growth rates.

Steve spent most of his career spanning over three decades at Gannett USA Today Network serving as Human Resources Director and finally as Senior Human Resource Executive. Steve is a three-time recipient of the USA TODAY Network Diversity Award and recognized as the 2006 USA TODAY Network's top Human Resources Leader. Gannett USA Today Network has over 6K employees working in over 200 daily newspapers and their corporate headquarters.


​KDRJ Consultants diverse client groups include national and regional organizations, such as The Desert Sun, Medina Cuisine of Washington D.C., Aleph Academy, Churchill Downs, Oregon Catholic Press, Tragesser Chiropractic, and the Los Angeles News Group.

​Steve is an active member of his community serving as Master of Ceremonies for the Northern Nevada Martin Luther King Jr. Dinner Celebration. He served as Keynote Speaker at Wilmington University's Honors Graduation and is a founding member of the Coachella Valley Hearts Across the Valley Food and Toy Drive.

A graduate of the University of Connecticut, Steve is enshrined in the UCONN Avery Point Basketball Sports Hall of Fame and author of "Life is Just a Piece of Kugel," which is available on Amazon.
